Quite disappointing. When I opened it up and put batteries in them I noticed right away that 2 of them were sticky. Obviously they had been used and returned and then reshipped to me. But I can forgive that if it works. 2 of them did not. I tried changing out batteries to no avail. So I went with 2 instead of 4 since 2 grandsons were coming over. I went with frozen jello. An idea that was offered in previous comments. Seemed like a good idea. Well this is what they dont tell you. After removing the jello from the molds (needed hot water to do it) all of the adults burst into laughter. Since they had warmed a bit with the removal the top third or so was bending ever so slightly at a very peculiar angle. They looked exactly like....(can I say "dildo" on this forum????) yes, there were my 2 young grandsons innocently licking and "fighting" with the dildo lightsabers. It has to be the funniest thing we have witnessed. Maybe I would have kept them if all 4 worked........and used them at a bridal shower.The kids just love this. It's easy to use and the boys love having their glowing lightsabers. They are now even asking for their juice to be a popsicle instead. I deducted one star because the switch on one of the handles sometimes flickers and you have to shake it to get it to come back on. But that hasn't happened for a couple of weeks, so perhaps "it" is no longer loose. Not a big deal since we only use two at a time anyway.I bought this for my kids, ages 5-10 and they love it! I love it because it is easy to fill and it is easy to twist out the popsicle without breaking it. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is the light doesn't shine too far up the popsicle - totally understand why but this makes it a tad less cool.Bought these for my 6 year old son. He loves them. There may be a similar product but it would be great if there was one that just shone a white light so the color of the juice or whatever you use would be brightened instead of just red and green. Not a big deal and I realized these were green and red when I bought them. Good quality and I like how you screw the handles on when you want to take them out as putting battery operated toys in the freezer is...well, obviously not a good idea.These are cute, definitely make for a fun new take on popsicles. However the lights don't really light up the popsicle well (only work for an inch or so at the base). But I use it without the lights just as a novelty hiltBe sure to do some measuring if you have a freezer drawer. I did not even THINK about this when I ordered. Ice pop maker was too tall for my freezer drawer and I had to reluctantly return them since they would not stand up right.My Star Wars-obsessed 3-year old LOVES these. He eats all of them almost every day and it's become part of my nightly routine to refill the light saber Popsicle tray before going to bed. We didn't have issues with them not lighting up, they work fine. Just be sure to use clear or nearly transparent juice or juice/water so you can see the light glowing.Gave to a little boy in my class because he's as much as a super fan as I am for Star Wars...and we both love Darth Vader! I bought some for me, and the handles are nice and big and comfortable to hold. They light up nice. These are awesome!!!I was a bit dubious due to other reviews but my nephews think these are amazing! The light worked rather well and only the very top bit of the lolly broke off when removing but that was only quite a short time in the freezer. A little pricey maybe for a novelty item but the boys were delighted with them.Too tall even when you take the top off. You need a chest freezer.ideal boys summer toyLook good and the light effect is cool but massively overpriced and as yet, 6 attempts, 24 ice pops, we've not manged to get a single one out complete. The ice pop always breaks around the area where the handle ends and they are really hard to get out. We've tried the running under a warm tap to loosen and various mixtures of liquids, including just water but still not luck. Unfortunately the packaging was thrown away during the Christmas clean up or else I'd be returning these .love these cant wait to try them out excellent for hot summer days and of course for the Star Wars fan
