Features

The Right Choice: A lower-waste single-serve format gives you convenient coffee with a conscience. Traditional single-serve options brew through plastic, making a lifeless cup of coffee and more waste for your local landfill. Our c-pods are compatible with most 1.0 and 2.0 single-serve brewers, but we’ve gotten rid of the plastic cup and filled them with premium craft coffee.

Simply, Amazing Coffee: Our Mountain Blend is a medium roast with a mild, balanced, and satisfying flavor. This blend of Jamaican Blue Mountain and Central American beans is slow-roasted to create a full-bodied taste. Only the top 2% of all Arabica coffee beans worldwide make it into our c-pods. 100% Arabica beans, gluten-free, and certified Kosher.

The Features You Need: Filter-brewed. Compatible with most keurig coffee machine and single-serve machines. Full list below.

Backed By Real Support The friendly team at our St. Louis headquarters is here for whatever you need.

Pay It Forward: Your purchase should have a positive impact on all the people involved. Greater Goods donates a portion of your purchase to help Love146 fight trafficking & care for survivors.

First off, the flavor is good. That's obviously going to be a subjective thing. Some folks apparently think it's too weak, but not for me.The problem I have is that it's listed as 100% compostable. I admittedly have not tried these yet in my actual compost, and will update if my experience proves me wrong. But the ring around the cup - which is stated to be made out of coffee- appears to be plastic. It is sort of the same consistency as the ring from a plastic milk jug.The second fly in the ointment is that 12 pods are packaged in a resealable plastic bag. I get that something is necessary, otherwise all the flavor would leak. But unless your community recycles plastic bags, this lessens the amount of plastics savings. Note, this is a thicker plastic, and may be easier to recycle. But my community will only recycle plastics of type #1, and there is no marking as to the recycle category. If the "plastic" ring indeed composts, then I'll keep buying these. The coffee is good. But if not, I can't be working to remove the non-compostable part on every pod.I'm looking for a smooth light roast and I'm still looking! Love the fact that it's compostible!!Excellent product. Also the coffee pods for compost is great easy to take care.First cup I made was colored water…. It closes hard with this cups but if you pay attention and push down on it to ensure it punctures the cup then you will get a good cup of coffee. Since the first cup with the extra push I haven’t had to really close it any different than normal.I love the flavor of these coffee pods, very smooth and not bitter. It is a good morning coffee for me. I may end up switching back to another brand though because these are a hassle to compost.Every morning I take my pods from used cups and I peel off the foil top and push the grains into a compost bin. Then I throw away the rim and the rest of the pod. I have noticed that the pods that arrived this month have a paper top, but the rim is still plastic. If the rim was made of a compostable material then this would be perfect.Currently I go through this hassle every morning for the sake of flavor... but I think I will need to switch to a fully biodegradeable product after I run out of this last shipment. However, it is still a delicious coffee for what it's worth, and I am glad they are moving towards a more biodegradeable product... it just isn't there yet. Once they have figured out how to make the ring compostable, I'll be back.I’ve happily used this brand of coffee for years in my Keurig 2.0. I had to recently replace the coffee maker with a Keurig K-Supreme. These coffee pods just don’t work. It may be that they’re too short, the coffee maker simply produces water. Pause seems to be pierced, but the water doesn’t seem to go through them. I tried making coffee with a brand that uses the plastic cups, and it worked fine.I've purchased Greater Goods medium roast multiple times over the years and loved it. My favorite coffee! The pods in this last carton are half full, producing coffee that looks like tea. I can see through it. I tested other brands to make sure it wasn't a problem with the coffee maker, but no, it's a Greater Goods problem. Something changed, and I'm sad.I am a coffee snob. Sumatra is my choice, but this coffee is a perfect substitute and the pods are a bonus!!
