I recommend this "The product is well made but it was not the best product for me. I knew it was 48 ounces when I ordered it but I thought that was plenty for one person. I didn't work because I started to use Starbucks cold-brew coffee which comes in a pouch. Although the pouch can be squeezed into the small mouth of the pitcher, it is worrisome when trying to get it out - I am afraid it will burst and there will be grounds everywhere. When not using a pouch, the metal insert does now allow the grounds to become evenly wet throughout the entire length of the pot.We drink a lot of chilled coffee and so I like to make double batches; this is too small. (But it was my fault for not checking its capacity.I was also hoping I could use it for the pre-packaged cold brew pods but the insert did not go far enough into the waterand trying to get the pods out with the narrow neck.. well, they broke and I had coffee grounds everywhere.But it is a nice pitcher so while I don't like it for its stated use, it has it's own value.I prefer cold tea to hot tea. Having used a variety of tea kettles to brew my tea, and then cool it down in the refrigerator, I was looking for a means to do it all in the refrigerator. This works great! I was particularly impressed at the very tiny mesh in the metal filter; none of the tea slipped through!Not a great product, but I’m sure it will work fine. Definitely low quality rubber comprising the seal on the lid. Additionally, where the spout is there is a gap where the rubber does not reach, making it not airtight and most definitely making it so that you shouldn’t “shake vigorously” like the instructions on the box imply, but that’s fine I never planned on shaking it. ??‍♀️A very simple way to make cold brewed coffee. Add 80 grams of coffee to the filter, pour 1.1 liters of boiling water, stir with chopsticks (or similar items), and chill overnight. Suitable for milk in the refrigerator door. The coffee obtained is smooth and has no bitter taste at all.I like to make my cold brew and this product is perfect. Easy to use, no mess and easy to clean. I only wish they could make it bigger than the 4 cup/48oz. jar. If you make one big enough for a gallon...sign me up immediately!!!My friends and I are like to drink cold brew coffee. We get together weekend. This cold brew coffee maker can allows me to make a good coffee the day before, and we can enjoy in the next day. A good thing is you can make 48oz of coffee in one time.
