Updated review: seller was very responsive and did all she could to solve the problems I was having. Come to find out newspaper is too thin and doesn’t create enough resistance to keep the two pieces together. The remedy for that is to place a precut sheet of white paper (that’s included) under the newspaper and it makes it thick enough to seal properly.The large cutter is still an issue so the seller is sending me an adjustable cutter instead of the fixed size. So I am hopeful that that works better.Original review:First, the large size paper cutter cuts the circles too big you have to manually trim them down for them to fit.Second, a light tug on the back of the pin and the whole plastic piece will dislodge. I tried smashing it down as hard as I could and they all came apart with a light tug. And I was using newspaper so it’s like the thinnest paper to use it should have closed down without coming apart. Only way to get them to stay is to add some glue in between the two pieces but doing that is going to make the press messy over time.So this is a good machine for kids to play with but you’d definitely not want to sell the pins as they will come apart.I found the instructions to be clear enough and the product was easy to use. I have tested the 32 mm and 58 mm so far. The pins came together well and do not seem to come apart. I haven't done a water fastness test yet, though (submerged in water for any amount of time) so if anyone has, feel free to post your results! ;) I did find I had to set the image in the press lined up with the mold's components and then rotate about 30 degrees to the right to get my on line up properly in the final image, so make sure you do a test on your presses before you do a ton of pins if alignment is important to you! I will add a video if I have a moment later.Yes, the largest circle cutter (not sure about the others seems to cuts about 1 mm larger than the image, but the paper still fits perfectly in my mold and I have had zero issues while pressing.So far, I am enjoying the press and feel that it works well. Just make sure that you buy the press set with a 75 mm attachment instead of this (25/32/58) if you want a larger button because the molds are not sold individually. OR buy this one and join me in requesting the larger mold be individually sold! LOL I'm glad I bought a set.It took two grown adults scouring the internet (and eventually the amazon product page) to figure out how to work this thing. Once we had it down, it was very easy to use. We appreciated all the extra product that came with it (the supplies), and have knocked out dozens of buttons. If you're struggling to put this thing together, skip the directions, they won't help you.Had an minor issue and the seller was super quick to respond to each email. Customer service alone is 100% going above and beyond to resolve and meet my needs is 500% will post pictures when I get a chance.I'm not sure how long this is expected to last, but after making about 1,500 pins, the base cracked. I would have expected it to last longer than that. Anyone know if a replacement base can be purchased? For others, I would suggest securing the base to a sturdy surface. We used it on a plastic table and I think the flex in the table contributed to the base cracking. If we can get this working again we will only use it on a very solid surface or attach it to a sturdy block of wood. Other than the cracked base, the assembly and use was easy and the pins looked great!Bought this hoping it would be easier on my hands than my Badge A Minit hand press. You get what you pay for normally, and I thought with the $130 price tag, it would work well.While this was easier on my hands, it wasn’t easier overall. The largest size buttons as mentioned in another review were unable to be used. The sizing is off for the press and they would not connect. Out of 10, only 1 that I pressed sealed together. Complete waste of supplies. I’m going to see if I can use these in my hand press to not have that size be a total loss.The press itself is useless after a while. I found the connector piece on the top to come lose and be miss aligned and it was at the point I had to reset it after every button. If I wanted to have extra hassle, I’d have continued to use my hand press. Wishing I had done that now and not purchased this item. I only pressed about 85 buttons out of the entire kit and it seems to be worthless at this point.Buyer beware - purchase at your own risk. I would return if I could. I’m very frustrated with the quality. While I thought it was because I wasn’t putting it together properly due to the useless instructions, I found after watching multiple YouTube videos I was doing it correctly and the machine is just not made well.
