Very well made and makes a lot. But here is something to consider. If you are single, get a small one vs. buying for potential guests; because the filter is not adjustable for how much you want to make (most don't have that feature). Theoretically you are supposed to tamp and fill the filter but it still works if you only put the amount of grinds you want in there; but it might not be the same. If you want to insure the same quality with the full filter what I do is use up the extra espresso, pouring it in cold milk containers that I use at work for the next couple of days and it tastes fine. Maybe you can find recipes to use the leftover with or freeze it in ice cubes for drinks or later use. I have this brand in a French Press and they both are sturdy and work really well.
