I bought this with the intention of using it for the homemade "Coffee Juice" I make for my husband. It served that purpose faitly well, meeting all my expectations. One thing I found was that after shaking and pouring his juice, it would drip down the outside of the jar. I'm not sure if it wasbam inherent problem with the lid, or with my hubby's lack of care. So I'm finding otjer uses - using for shaking thickeners, storing pour-off juices, etc. A variety if uses for which a glass wide mouth jar works well, with the plus of pouring liquids. The extra seal rings are a very nice bonus, and the lids are easy to use and easy to wash. I gave one to a friend, who is finding it handy to store her pickles in. She uses a touch of brine in several dishes she makes and the lid makes it easier than ever to pour out the small amounts she needs with no hassle.Have only used for liquids at this time, but I'm certain I'll find many dry food applications, so am anticipating another purchase soon.
